When we started our company in 2005 everything was moving at a rapid pace. We had new clients and projects with deadlines that were right around the corner. So, we chose a name, FranMarketing, right on the spot and forged ahead. But after a while our name became somewhat of a misnomer. People thought that we only offered marketing services. They didn’t realize that we offered advertising, audio and video services in addition to marketing and branding support (see our About Us page for more information).
So we decided to change the name of the company, but this time we had a totally different approach. We took our time (not the rapid fire decision we made before) and established a focus group to aid us in the decision. Out of all the names we came up with, Hill Street Media stuck. Hill Street was the street that I grew up on. It’s where I knew that I wanted to pursue a career in Journalism and Communications. Hill Street Media felt right, our team liked it and so did our focus group (we love them for allowing us to bounce so many ideas off of them).
With the name in place we worked with our talented graphic designers to create a logo, had our business cards designed (we used front and back to communicate more information) and then sat down with our web design team. And here we are! Hill Street Media formerly FranMarketing, putting your ideas in motion, offering the same services and the same commitment to excellence. Let us know if you have an upcoming project.
